Payroll Records Administrator

Location: Eugene, OR

Type: Full Time

Min. Experience: Entry Level

Day shift: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday

Purpose of the Position: Offers support to payroll, learns payroll system and processes, helps maintain/store employee documents, continues to improve paperless payroll and employee records through our payroll system, ADP.  Maintains and reconciles benefit deductions offered to employees of the company. 

Major Duties:

  • Ensures accurate and timely handling of garnishments consistent with federal, state and local regulations. Answering initial and second response, set-up/stopping in payroll system and tracking deductions.
  • Prepares monthly reconciliation of benefits offered to company employees.Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.Prepares communications/Insurance Deduction Notifications on any discrepancies. Creates reports as needed.
  • Maintains employee documents and paperwork through payroll system.Scanning and filing documents for recordkeeping.
  • Audits employee changes and ensure proper authorization on documents.
  • Administers the handling of Employee Reimbursement Programs keeping compliant with company policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation on processes.
  • Responds to requests for payroll information from government agencies and other authorized third parties.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required. 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in payroll processing preferred.
  • Excellent skills using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer required.
  • Previous experience with ADP preferred.
  • Strong skills understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll system. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. 
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbal and in writing.
