Associate Rebar Estimator
STABLE FULL-TIME WORK EXPECTED THROUGH THE 2026 CALENDAR YEAR AND BEYOND!
Purpose of the Position: Assist rebar Estimator(s) to provide estimates based on bid documents and drawings. Apply learned estimating processes and procedures to assigned projects and develop into the position of a Reinforcing Estimator.
Pay Range: $21.00 - $27.00 hourly DOE
Shift: Typically Monday-Friday 7 AM - 4 PM
Major Duties:
- Assist in compiling rebar estimates on construction projects and prepare bids for customers.
- Update and maintain project folders as required.
- Preparation of jobs for supply vendors, contract administrator, detailer and foreman.
- Provide follow up bids, record and maintain date in bid logs.
- Work with Branch Manager on pricing strategies.
Qualifications:
- GED or high school diploma required.
- Previous rebar or reinforcing experience required.
- Computer skills and ability to learn programs related to products required.
- Should be experienced in the construction market and blueprint reading with strong analytical and mathematic skills.
